WALKER, Robert E., 81, of Dayton, formerly of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. Robert was born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 16, 1931 to Howard & Effie Walker. He was retired from Navistar and the Clark County Sheriffs Office. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. Survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Michael & Gelila Walker; granddaughter, Mya; sister-in-law, Connie Applin. Graveside service 2 p.m. Friday, Mar. 1, 2013 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428. If desired, memorials may be made to your favorite VFW Post.
